Today, a seminar on higher education in Germany took place. The topic is relevant, considering that universities in Germany are free. However, there are a great number of specifics that applicants and their parents need to consider.
More than 50 parents and students gathered in the lyceum's assembly hall. Interestingly, most of the students were from grades 8 to 10, which shows that our students are thinking about their future.
I talked about the differences between the education systems in Ukraine and Germany, how to apply to a German university, what is needed for that, what documents and knowledge are required, how to increase your chances of admission, how much it will cost to study at the free German universities, and how to obtain a visa.
There were many questions from parents and students, and great conversations after the presentation. It was interesting!
