This video course is designed to learn German from scratch (or almost from scratch) and is the first part of four A1 level courses. You don't need to buy expensive textbooks – all materials are attached to the lessons; you can print them out or use them in electronic format!
In this course: 10 videos with a total duration of 7.5 academic hours, 85 audio files with a total duration of 1.5 hours, 50 pages of materials with explanations and exercises, a vocabulary of 200 words, as well as transcriptions for all audio files and answers to all tasks.
It will suit you if:
- You have never studied German before.
- You studied German a long time ago.
- You are currently studying or have studied German but lack a fundamental system of knowledge and want to understand everything thoroughly.
Starting with the alphabet and pronunciation rules, we will thoroughly work through each topic of vocabulary and grammar. You will be able to practice with many exercises. The videos provide explanations and answers to questions that may arise during learning. All exercises and texts are voiced, so you can listen to the texts and read the transcriptions even after all tasks are completed. Pronunciation is taught easily and naturally. At the end of the course, there is a test to check your knowledge, which includes both oral and written parts.
The specially designed course concept will allow you to study when and as much as you can. Video lessons are divided by topics of vocabulary and grammar, and each topic has a vocabulary and word learning system (through flashcards or audio).
In this course:
- Grammar: rules are presented in an easy and logical form with many exercises for practice and explanation of answers;
- Vocabulary: you will not only learn but also apply the basic vocabulary in everyday situations;
- Listening: each exercise and text is voiced;
- Speaking: you will get used to answering questions, asking questions, and finding something to say in ordinary everyday conversations;
- Writing: yes, Germans love to write! You will learn to fill out forms and write short texts about yourself and others.
The advantage of this course is that all 4 skills are trained at the same level. Thus, you will feel more confident at the basic level, having a good foundation for further learning of the German language.
