The exam is necessary for:

Level B2 means that you can:

  • understand the main content of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics, as well as professional discussions in your field of specialization.
  • communicate spontaneously and fluently, allowing normal conversations with native speakers without special effort on both sides.
  • express yourself clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics, articulate viewpoints on current issues, and present the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Locations, dates, and costs of the exam can be checked on the website of the Goethe Institute. Preparation for the Goethe Certificate B2 exam should start after completing the general course of this and previous levels or the intensive course of this and previous levels.

Preparation includes:

  • general knowledge of the exam procedure, proper time allocation,
  • processing of the vocabulary needed for level B2, working on a synonym dictionary,
  • preparation for the written and oral parts,
  • processing of typical test tasks in the areas of listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking,
  • writing sample exams,
  • working on typical mistakes,
  • life hacks to avoid them,
  • the right mood before the exam (nervousness and excitement - your main enemy!).

Number of lessons: 18 lessons

It is recommended to take the course after completing B2 level courses, before the exam.
