The exam is necessary for:

  • studying abroad,
  • participating in scholarship programs and competitions (e.g., PASCH network),
  • those planning to immigrate to Germany through various programs, from family reunification to resettlement,
  • those wishing to confirm their level and obtain an international certificate.


Level A2 means that you can:

  • use and understand sentences and frequently used expressions on familiar topics in everyday life and simple situations.
  • tell about yourself, your education, describe your environment, and things related to immediate needs in a simple form.

Preparation for the exam should start after completing the general course of this and previous levels or the intensive course of this and previous levels.

Preparation includes:

  • general knowledge of the exam procedure, proper time allocation,
  • processing of the vocabulary needed for level A2,
  • preparation for the written and oral parts,
  • processing of typical test tasks in the areas of listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking,
  • preparing for the written and oral parts;
  • writing sample exams,
  • working on typical mistakes,
  • life hacks to handle "tricky" tasks;
  • moral support, so you'll be the most composed person in the room on that day ;)
